いつも「醒 -sei-」並びに「器や彩々」をご愛顧いただき、誠にありがとうございます。 京都・二条城の南に「醒 -sei-」という小さなギャラリーを構えてから、早いもので2年ちょっとの年月が流れました。この度、より多くの方に作家たちの表現に触れていただくための場所として、オンラインストアを開設いたしました。 実店舗である「醒」は、築百年の京町家の中で、光と影、そして作家の精神性が交差する場所です。 「掌（たなごころ）に伝わる表現を、日常の風景へ。」 この場所で私どもが大切にしている想いは、画面を通したウェブであっても変わりません。 ひとつひとつの作品が持つ個性。土の呼吸や、硝子の揺らぎ、木の温かみなどを五感で受け取り、あの凛として心が目覚めるような感覚を、言葉と写真に託してお届けしてまいります。 遠方でなかなか京都へお越しいただけない皆さまにとっても、この場所が新しい美意識と出会う「もう一つの展示室」となれば幸いです。 ご紹介できる作品より、順次ご紹介してまいります。 実店舗共々、どうぞ末永くご愛顧のほどお願い申し上げます。

We have been dealing in tableware in Kyoto for a long time, and we opened the gallery "Sei" to present the "beauty of crafts" with a higher level of purity.
This website uses words and photographs to introduce the individuality of each piece of pottery, the thoughts that the artists put into it, and the "awakening feeling" that you can get in our physical store.
We want this to be a place where you can encounter artists in their current state, even when it's difficult to make the trip to Kyoto.
