Ono Shohei's works are made from clay he himself mines in the mountains.
Each piece is characterized by its rich expression, which is intentionally created by avoiding overmixing the clay and leaving finger marks, so that each piece is unique. The glaze is also natural, so the colors vary, and we ask for your understanding. Although the pieces are heavy, as is typical of earthenware, they are durable and easy to handle, and do not require any pre-treatment before use, so they are perfect for everyday use at the dinner table.
