Ono Shohei's works are made from clay he himself mines in the mountains.
Each piece is characterized by its rich expression, which is intentionally created by not mixing the clay too much and leaving finger marks, etc. The glazes used are natural, so the colors vary and please understand that there will be differences.
Although it is a heavy piece typical of earthenware, it is durable and easy to handle and does not require any pre-treatment before use, making it a dish that we would like you to use on your daily dining table.
